About the event
A large choir in the the Swiss Canton Thun (Switzerland)
Project from 18 October 2024 to 19 April 2025.
For the “7 Words from the Cross” project, we are looking for 250 singers from pop, gospel and church choirs. Choirs, singing clubs and even non-church groups are expressly invited to take part. The repertoire and rehearsals are designed so that amateur singers can also take part in the project. In order to take part, it is not necessary to belong to a church.
Mega choir and top soloists
The project choir is the heart of the production. The solo roles are taken on by professional singers. The stage play consists of 19 pieces of music.
The pieces are designed so that choir singers can learn them easily and have fun during rehearsals. The project period with ten rehearsals for the participants is six months.
